Phil is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Prior to joining the firm, Phil was Deputy Head of Global Equities at Citadel. Prior to Citadel, Phil was a Managing Director of Point72 Asset Management, L.P and the Head of Global Trading. He was also the Sector Executive for the Firm’s Industrials Operating Unit, responsible for supporting and supervising the performance and professional development of all Industrials Portfolio Managers and Sector teams. Phil joined Point72 in August 2002 as a trader. He was appointed Head of Global Equity Trading in December 2006, Managing Director in 2008, and became a Sector Executive in 2014. Prior to Point72, Phil worked at Target Investors/Grand Prix Funds from 1993 to 1999, where he started as a trader and became Senior Vice President. Before Target Investors/Grand Prix Funds, he was a trader in Brown Brothers Harriman’s Private Client Group, in Gabelli & Company’s hedge fund division. Phil received his BA in Mathematics and his BS in Economics from Binghamton University. He also received his MBA from Fordham University. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Domus.
