Jon D. Gruen
CEO
A native of Oakland, California, Jon D. Gruen graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Physics (Oceanography). Jon’s active-duty assignments included SEAL TEAM ONE, NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE UNIT TWO, and SEAL TEAM THREE where he served in increasing SEAL Platoon and Task Unit leadership roles in Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

In his civilian career, Jon served as a Business Development Principal at Lockheed Martin where he won over $10B in program value. Jon holds a Master of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California - Berkeley.
